At Studio Vela, we offer a few services to fit the different needs of our clients. Whether you just need a little guidance or want us to take care of the design process from start to finish, we are here to help you create a beautiful and comfortable home.

Full Service Interior Design

From concept to completion, we are here for you. We come on board in the project's early conceptual stages, often collaborating with architects, builders, and craftspeople as the project unfolds.

We will combine your wants and needs and our design vision to create a plan of the space and specify finishes, materials and other details. We will work closely with the contractors to implement the design.

For furnishing projects, we will work with you and our trades to create custom furniture, window treatments, lighting, etc. to give you a bespoke space like no other.

Design Makeover

Design Makeover services are for the clients who needs a designer's help to make their dream space comes to live. but prefer to implement all design ideas themselves.

If you’re ready to transform your room into a space that is beautiful and functional, but are paralyzed by the choices you have to make, we're here to help.

This service is mostly conducted online with optional site visits for local clients. But rest assured, we give your goals for the space the same attention as our full service clients.

Design Consultation

If you need design help without waiting for weeks/months, Design Consultation is for you!

With this service, we help you accomplish your design goals efficiently. Design Consultation is time-based. We dedicate an hour and a half to help you where you need our consulting services most.

Consultation can be done in-person or virtually.

OUR FULL-SERVICE PROCESS

For our full service design, we follow this proces to ensure a smooth experience for our clients from beginning to end.

  • This stage includes in-person meetings, site visits, and communicating lots of ideas so I get to know you and your project while you learn about working with Studio Vela. I'll ask you to create an inspiration board on Pinterest of images you love and even some you don't, and we'll review them together and discuss possibilities.

  • During Conceptual Design, you'll be presented with different options for materials, finishes, layouts, etc. We will review these together and you'll get to tell us what you like and don't like. Based on your feedback, we will create design plan that will include floor plan, furniture layout, finishes, materials, etc.

  • We will review the design plan with you and get your last feedback. Based on your feedback, revisions will be made and you'll be presented with the final design plan.

  • Once construction is underway, things will get a bit hectic on the job site but it's exciting! It's challenging to live with construction going on under your roof (or even if you're living elsewhere) but it's so gratifying to finally see your design plan come to life.

  • While construction is underway, we will select and order furnishings. We’ll be working with our trusted trade vendors to purchase all approved design elements including lighting, furnishings, artwork, antiques, textiles, and accessories.

  • Installation is another exciting milestone. Construction is done, the dust has settled, and the furnishings have arrived. (Hurray!) Now it's time to install the furniture and style the room with finishing touches.

  • We'll conduct a walk-through together and make a final punch list of any outstanding items. We will also hand over product manuals, care guides, and warranties.
